Proven Leadership. Compassionate. Determined.
Why I'm running for SBP
During my time as the Chair of the Senate Advocacy Committee, I witnessed firsthand the tremendous capability of student activism, voice, and talent. Combined with the dedication of my fellow Members, I was able to guide Advocacy’s transition from and ad-hoc committee to a full fledged standing committee tackling on difficult issues regarding diversity and inclusion. However, our scope is limited by the nature of committee work and thus I seek to occupy a position which grants more freedom to operate a number of issues so that the entirety of our community can benefit and be better off for it. We are given the tremendous privilege of attending this University, and as such, we should work to make the most of our time here, all the while helping those around achieve and unlock their full potential. I would relish the opportunity to foster a more welcoming, inclusive, and robust community dynamic to fulfill the promise of a united campus.
Dedicated. Empathetic. Ready to Engage.
Why I'm running for Vice President
I have always had a desire to improve the communities I'm a part of. The Carnegie Mellon community is very important to me and I want to serve the student body in any way I can. From my experiences in Undergraduate Student Senate and Roosevelt Institute, I have seen how we, as students, can impact our university for the better. Despite what some may say, I believe our student body truly cares and is full of great ideas that deserve our attention. I want to be the representative that listens to your concerns, responds with compassion, and delivers results. It's what we, as Carnegie Mellon students, deserve to see in a Student Body Vice President.
